Essex Bank today opened a new branch location in the Midlothian area of Chesterfield County, Virginia. The branch is located in the Stonehenge Village Shopping Center. Essex Bank now operates 26 full service branch offices throughout Virginia and Maryland.
The Stonehenge Village office brings full-service retail banking capabilities to Chesterfield residents, and is located next to the Wegmans supermarket on Midlothian Turnpike.
This is Essex Bank’s second branch in Chesterfield County, joining the Bon Air office located at 2730 Buford Road. The Bank also maintains another Midlothian location – the Winterfield branch – at 3740 Winterfield Road.
The branch features a drive-thru and a 24 hour full-service ATM that accepts both check and cash deposits for added convenience.
“Essex Bank’s Stonehenge branch reflects our new concept which is staffed with financial service associates ready to serve the needs of our current and future customers throughout Midlothian and Chesterfield County,” said Rex L. Smith, III, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Our Bank is proud to continue our growth in Chesterfield and beyond, and we look forward to providing our Intriguingly Unique brand of customer service to the area’s residents and businesses.”
The Stonehenge Village branch was designed by Evolve Architecture of Richmond, and construction was completed by FasTrac General Contractors of Midlothian. Evolve Architecture also designed Essex Bank’s West Broad Marketplace location in Short Pump, which opened last summer.
