Essex Bank is committed to keeping your money and personal information safe and to reducing fraudulent activity among accounts. Starting June 8, Essex Bank will implement a new ALERT SYSTEM to keep you informed of suspected fraudulent activity and to allow you to respond quickly.
How it Works:
One minute after the email (between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm), you will receive a text alert from “32874,” which gives you another “fraud” or “no fraud” reply option.
If within five minutes after the text alert you do not respond, you will receive automatic phone calls allowing you to confirm or deny fraud.
Please remember that these messages will NEVER ask for your PIN or account number. Should anyone request your PIN or account number by phone or email, alert your nearest Essex Bank location.
